Most Purchased Items From 2021

I always think it's interesting to look at my analytics and see what was the most clicked on and purchased items for the year.  As you can probably tell, I don't take this blogging thing too seriously anymore but there are sometimes some big hits!

1.  These maternity shorts were wildly popular, (I think they somehow got picked up via pinterest?) and with good reason- I wore them every day this summer!

2.  Rue's name sweater- which she just outgrew :(

3.  The best Amazon leggings- I'm currently wearing mine!

4.  These sheets, which is so random! But I get it, I love them too!

5.  "The Amazon Coat".

Holiday Gift Guide 2021: For Babes

Being a third child, we already have most of these items so Rue is just getting her own everywhere chair to match her sibs and a Lovevery kit (a Montessori toy subscription kit), which I'm so excited about!

Holiday Gift Guide 2021 : Kids

I'm pumped to start to sharing my 2021 gift guides- they're always some of my most popular posts, and I always appreciate how many people tell me they were helpful!  I did want to make a note though- of course I don't think any child needs all of these things (let alone any of it!) and my children definitely don't get all of these things for gifts!

That being said- these are some things my kids are getting and some of their current favorites.  I'd say this age range is 3-10.

Postpartum With Baby Rue

Welcome home, baby!  Ahh, postpartum.  Those first few days after having a baby are such a tender, beautiful, and bittersweet time.  With baby #3, i's definitely been the easiest recovery, mostly because I know what to expect, and life with two big siblings can't really be put on pause, but there are still some items that made the adjustment easier!

1.  My favorite nursing tanks.  I've slept in these every night since I had Ophelia but I added a few more because I'm pretty sure I didn't wear anything else for that first week!
2. Some nipple balm for that tender new baby latch.- I'm a breastfeeding pro, but I still forgot it does hurt at first!  We're past that now, but it was nice to have some nipple stuff, even though I was sure I wouldn't need it.
3. I didn't tear or really have any postpartum pain this time around, but it was still nice having these all natural witch hazel pads for those first few bathroom trips.
4.  These sexy beasts.  Seriously, do not bother with pads.  Way better than ruining all your underwear and pants.
5.  I lost a lot of blood and really recommend these iron supplements- I feel like they give me energy!

For babe: I will say that the only thing you really need are your boobs, some diapers, and somewhere for the bub to sleep- usually in the beginning the best spot is your chest.

But here are some of my fave things we've used with Rue

2.  These sleepers are SO soft and luxurious.  Anytime they're clean I put her in one!  We also love  these that are easier on the wallet!
3.  These are the only pacis she would take!  I tried about a billion.
5.  Diaper brands I like:  Honest, Hello Bello, and Millie Moon.
6.  A pretty blanket to wrap baby in and snuggle: Rue's two faves (okay, my faves) are this one and this one.

Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2021

In case you've been living under a rock, it's t's that time of the year when Nordstrom puts brand new, fall clothes on sale before they've ever been seen before.

I wasn't too impressed with the sale picks this year, probably just because being 81476 months pregnant, I can't try them on! I do have one thing I really want: this Free People Sweater, and if you are newly pregnant and looking for good maternity leggings, the Zella ones are included! I also loved this hat, and this "shacket".

Baby Favorites -What We'll Use for Baby #3

I'm a big believer in that you don't really need a lot of "stuff" to have a baby.  The first time around I had like, spreadsheets of all the "must haves" and a lot of it (swing, wipe warmer, 10 different kinds of swaddles) sat around collecting dust.  All you really NEED, in my opinion is your boobs and some diapers. That being said, there are some of the things that come in handy and we'll definitely be using this time around.

 1.  This baby carrier- it's my favorite favorite.  Ralphie basically took every nap of his first year in there.

5.  Also love this soft wrap for those early squishy newborn days.

2.  The best baby lotion and diaper cream out there.

3.  You just NEED a place to set them down when you have more then one.  This lounger is probably our most used item, other than the carrier.  We liked this one better than others because of the angle, the babies love to be able to see what is going on around them.

4.   Their own blankets and burp cloths.  Of course you could reuse these, but I found it nice to have new ones for the new addition.

6.  I HATED the infant carseat we had with Ophelia because it was so heavy.  This one super light and sleek.

7.  I've tried a lot of diapers, and even tried to cloth diaper for a second with Ralphie, but I personally just think Honest are the best!

8.  Love Frida Baby products- the snot sucker is a must.

9.  The Haaku is so nice for building a breastmilk stash when your supply is overflowing in the beginning!
