A Quest: Finding a Hat For a Giant Head

I recently received a reader request- a mom was looking for a hat that was both cute and offered sun protection while hanging out outside with the littles all summer.  While I love, love, LOVE getting requests like this, hats are tough for me because my head is...well, gigantic.  BUT! I did it! I found one- it has an adjustable brim so you can make it work to fit your head, whether its super small or large like mine! A NEW FIND: I recently stumbled upon the instagram account @otisandotto and am obsessssed with her house and style.

GROWING UP: I decided I am finally enough of an adult to get a trench coat- I've wanted one forever, but felt like I could never pull it off.  I'm deciding between this one and this one- thoughts?

LOVING: this coral, flutter sleeve peplum top.  This plus jean shorts, and a tan?  Screams summer to me!

FAVORITE WAY TO UNWIND: These new sheet masks from yes to are amazing.  I like the acne one if I have a pimple, and the rose oil one for general calming/soothing.  They're also really awesome for scaring your husband.

DRESS OBSESSED: Girlfriend has become seriously dress obsessed.  She carries them around all day on their hangers, just to have them near her.  Our house looks like a little boutique.  Some of her favorites are this one, and this one.

FOR ALL OF YOUR TININESS: We've been loving this book- and it's so sweet I get a little sniffly.  Although not after the 3028398 read.  

DUMP: Our sand table has been getting serious use- it's pretty much toddler nirvana.  This sand is way better than the rocky stuff! 

WELCOME TO THE JUNGLE: Our animal figurines are definitely her favorite toy.  They were lifesavers on the airplane too!  Of course, the dogs get the most love.  Woof, woof!

Does anyone else plan their outfits with how well they'll have access to the boobs?  We're still nursing over here, and I don't see a stopping point in sight.  With spring here and summer coming, that makes wearing dresses and pretty tops hard.  The layers of winter are good for one thing at least!   But as usual, I combed the internet and found us some cute options.

Get The Look: Boho Backyard

Did everyone watch Big Little Lies?  As I said here, I was a bit lukewarm on it in the beginning since I read the book, but by the end I was OBSESSED.  And also pretty obsessed with Bonnie's backyard.  The houses on that show were insane, am I right?  Anyways, Bonnie's backyard had me wanting to throw a bohemian dinner party- where hopefully no one vomits up shrimp!  Here's how I'll get the look:

New Natural Beauty Products I'm In Love With

Pay attention, people!  These new finds are seerrrrriously good.

Heritage Store Rosewater & Glycerin (available here, and here):  Okay, I don't know what it is in the stuff.  I mean, I do, I read the ingredients. (One of which is Vor-Mag water which is water that has been vortexed and magnetized to raise the energy to a higher vibration.  Crazy!)  But like, I'm not sure what it is, or what is technically even for, but it is MAGIC.  I've been using it as a toner (after I wash my face with this) and it has dramatically changed my skin.  The rosewater seems to make a huge difference with acne scars, improves texture, and just... pardon the lameness, but it gives you that glow.  INSTANTLY. 

Pacifica Coconut Wipes (available here, here, and here):   I bought these for our trip to Mexico on a whim at Target and I LOVE them.  I've been using them before I wash my face as kind of a double cleanse, and they're also handy for after I workout but can't shower right away.  They're made with coconut water, which gently cleans your face while removing toxins, oil, pollutants and dirt from your skin without water., papaya, a natural exfoliant, helps revive skin and remove dead cells, and aloe vera and calendul, which soothe and calm. 

Mychelle Ultra Hyaluronic Hydrating Serum (available here and here):  I talked about this stuff in this post too, but I'm still completely loving it.  I was looking for a natural product with hyaluronic acid, and found this one at Whole Foods.  It boosts moisture levels, and conditions and soothes skin.
