Sometimes it seems like my little girl is surviving life only on breastmilk (left boob, preferably) and pomegranate seeds. So when I noticed she liked drinking my smoothie I make after I work out I was psyched, because it's full of all sorts of good stuff. We've started having this everyday, and she seriously downs it, and usually asks for more!
Green Smoothie for Toddlers
-2 big handfuls of mixed greens (spinach, kale, arugula, swiss chard)
- 1/2 a banana
- sprinkle of hemp seeds
- sprinkle of this organic superfood/protein powder
-handful of frozen blueberries
- dollop of nut butter
- big sprinkle of cinnamon (this is the most important thing, I think!)
